Al -Shabaab terrorists killed in Somalia – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news

Somali national television reported on Sunday that more than five members of the al -Shabaab terrorist group were killed, according to Mehr News Agency.

A stateme issued by the Somali army said the operation was successfully carried out with the help of iernational partners on Sunday in the Biya Cadde area in the state of Hirshabelle.

The Somali army on social media X wrote: The armed forces, iernational partners and vigila locals coinue to operate.

The al -Shabaab terrorist group corols some villages and towns in southern Somalia and repeatedly targets security forces and civilians in Mogadishu and major cities.

Somali security forces have been able to release several cities, towns and villages in rece mohs from occupying the al -Shabab terrorist group and have taken corol of these areas.

The al -Shabab terrorist group affiliated with the al -Qaeda group has been seeking the overthrow of the Mogadishu governme since year 6.
