Mark Route, secretary -general of the North Atlaic Treaty Organization (NATO), said in an ierview with the BBC on Saturday that the differences between Trump and Zelnski were “unfortunate” and they had to repair their relations.

“I have now spoken to Ukrainian Preside Walodimir Zelnski for the second time,” said the secretary general of the North Atlaic Treaty Organization. I told him this, we must be united, the United States, Ukraine and Europe (we must unite) to bring Kiev to sustainable peace.

According to the Guardian, when asked by Mark Route what Zelnsky had said in a meeting with Trump, the Secretary -General of the North Atlaic Treaty said he was not free to reveal what he had talked about.

He added: “What I have clearly told to him (Zelkski) is that we really have to respect what Trump has done for Ukraine so far. Ukraine will not reach anywhere without US support. It is importa that Preside Zelnsky find a way to revive his relations with the US preside and with senior US officials.
