The South Korean and US Marines launched a joi exercise in the northern parts of South Korea on Friday as part of alleged efforts to enhance the operating capabilities of the two sides, according to Mehr News Agency.

According to the South Korean Marines Group, the four -day training was carried out in the fields of training in Paju and Dennuton, near the North Korean border, with about 5 Navy rifles of special ideification units in both couries as part of the maritime training program.

During the course of this exercise, Marines will do various exercises focusing on close battle, sniper training and ideification.
