Russian narrative of consulting with the US in Istanbul

In a stateme, the Russian Foreign Ministry cited the details of the bilateral talks between the Moscow and Washington diplomatic delegations in Istanbul.
According to RCO News Agency, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced today (Friday) that at a meeting with the US in Istanbul, they agreed on joi measures to finance the diplomatic missions of the two couries.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a stateme: “The parties agreed on joi measures to finance the activities of Russian and US diplomatic missions in a mutual way and create appropriate conditions for diplomats to carry out their official duties.”
The delegates also referred to the issues of Russian diplomatic real estate in the US on the return of six civilians, which were illegally confiscated in the 1-8 period, the stateme said.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian delegation has also suggested that the United States should examine the possibility of resisting direct flights.
The parties also discussed ways to overcome “annoyance” in bilateral relations at the Istanbul summit.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said: According to the guidelines of the Foreign Ministers, ways to overcome numerous cases of bilateral relations that have been the legacy of previous US governmes were discussed in detail.
The Russian delegation, represeed by Alexander Charchheff, director of the North Atlaic Departme of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the US delegation, on behalf of the Deputy Foreign Minister Sonata Colter, attended the Istanbul meeting on February 7.
The importance of practical results that coributed to the creation of conditions to improve bilateral relations in the ierests of our couries was emphasized, a stateme from the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Istanbul meeting was held significaly and professionally and the conversation will coinue through the channel.
