Putin: We are ready to resume cooperation with the US

The Russian preside says Moscow is ready to resume cooperation with Washington.
According to RCO News Agency, Russian Preside Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that “we are ready to resume cooperation with the US.”
“Not all couries are pleased with the negotiations between Russia and the United States, some are seeking to destroy it,” he said in a speech to senior members of the Russian Federal Security Service. “All diplomatic and ielligence sources must be used to couer the efforts of Western elites to disrupt negotiations between Russia and the United States.”
“Moscow will protect its national ierests against any threat,” the Russian preside said. Western elites seek to maiain instability and chaos around the world. “Any attempt to create divisions in Russian society must be stopped.”
In this regard, Putin ordered the Russian Federal Security Service to protect the security of all Russian citizens and its borders.
He also issued a new order to Russian special security services to find new ways to couer cyber attacks: “Cyber attacks on Russian infrastructure have iensified.”

Earlier, Russian Presideial Palace spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia and the US have a wide range of cooperation with each other: but there is still no fundameal discussion.
Referring to the launch of Russian and US represeatives on the work of the embassies of the two couries held today in Istanbul, he said, Moscow proposes not to go ahead of the results of the Russian -US summit in Istanbul and wait for it to be completed.
Preside Donald Trump is ready to hear what others say, and Moscow is seeing it, unlike former Preside Joe Biden, Peskov said.
A spokesman for the Kremlin added: “If there is a political will and a willingness to listen to each other and coinue, Russia and the United States will be able to go through the work process.”
