According to RCO News Agency, Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi emphasized the necessity of planning and moveme at the first national conference of the Vice -Chancellor for Research and Technology of Medical Sciences and Universities of Medical Sciences in Tehran University of Medical Sciences, which was held on Wednesday, March 23, at Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
Emphasizing the importance of research and innovation in the field of health, he called for the developme of effective strategies to promote the coury’s scieific and technology position.
The Minister of Health also poied to the role of proper design in the success of the programs, saying: “If we do not have a good design, it will take us away from its goal.”
He emphasized the importance of developing careful scieific and operational programs to achieve the goals of the health system and called for synergy between universities and research ceers.
Zafarqandi further emphasized the use of human resources, especially studes, saying: “If we can use this capacity with proper and optimal manageme, we will achieve effective results that require education because education is like technical research.”
He added: “There are many research ceers in hospitals, but unfortunately their relationship with the hospital is cut off, which can require success in clinical activities.”
The Minister of Health poied to one of the largest research projects on the effects of chemical injuries in the imposed war and said: “The research and scieific project lasted ten years and led to an importa scieific article that was considered iernationally and brought the world the oppression of the Iraqi Ba’ath regime with the help of Western couries and illegally using weapons.”
“We are in a situation where we need to have our orieations to the right harvest of resources, and this requires the use of all capacities,” Zafargandi added.
He coinued: According to our research on air pollution and preseed it to the governme, this plan has become the first and importa plan of the governme today. According to the study, the impact of air pollution on mortality and the results found that air pollution could cause about 6,000 deaths annually, a world that, according to research by air pollution in the world, leads to the death of 6,000 children.
The Minister of Health further emphasized on clean energy in the coury: “Our coury has a sunny day of 5 days to use this capacity to address the problem of air pollution.”
Zafargandi also said that the use of clean energy in the governme is being supplied with resources and its implemeation will begin soon.
He said: “There should be serious education and research and our efforts are to be able to take esseial measures in the areas that make the field of research progresses that we will certainly succeed in the medical field that is proud of the coury.”
The Minister of Health coinued: About 5 % of the coury’s scieific community is active in the Ministry of Health, with 5 % of scieific production dedicated to the Ministry of Health and more than 2 % of the coury’s researchers belong to the health sector, and in many fields, especially pharmacy and nursing, we have a higher position to maiain this position and effort in the field of research.
