Mehdi Jafari, secretary of the “Dream of Sharif” eve held at Sharif University today, told reporters the purpose of the eve to create synergy between technology companies based in the Sharif Innovation Area and meet the needs of the coury.
Referring to the technological activities of Sharif University in the 1980s and the formation of the innovation area, he emphasized the need for a more cohere change in the area to solve the coury’s problems.
According to the secretary of the eve, the eve was held in collaboration with Sharif graduates and the Vice Preside of Science, and its aim is to make the most effective relationship of Sharif district companies to ideify the coury’s needs.
Responding to a question about priority plans, Jafari said that a wide range of companies operate in the area and that any design that has the capacity to meet national needs will be a priority.
He also poied to the role of the eve in the employme of graduates, adding that despite the establishme of most knowledge -based companies outside the university, holding the eve in the university environme provides an opportunity to familiarize studes with companies and their activities. After the eve, programs are also iended to maiain communication between studes and companies through differe platforms.
In the end, Jafari addressed the impact of the eve on the relationship between industry and the university and said: “This relationship can be examined in two respects.” One is to solve industry problems by university professors and the second is to attract industrial needs to the university through companies based on innovation.
