Archaeologists in Turno, Italy, have discovered a large pre -cemetery, which includes tombs belonging to high -ranking people and their associated burial. The discovery took place during the restoration of a building.
According to a press release by the Turno Provincial Council, more than 5 tombs have been discovered at an eight -meter depth below the curre street surface and among the layers of ancie Roman and medium -ceuries. Experts estimate that this cemetery belongs to the early iron period, between the nih and sixth ceury BC.

One of the unique features of this cemetery is its arrangeme as a multilayer memorial collection. The collection coains vertical burial inscriptions that determine the western edge of a stone room covered by a mass of soil.
