Hours after the cancellation of Tehran’s flight to Beirut and the demonstrations of the angry people in Lebanon against the governme’s move, the Lebanese Airlines issued an explanation stateme that “changing the flight plan to maiain the health of the passengers was carried out, according to the Mehr News Agency.
The Lebanese Airlines stateme said that “the organization has taken some steps in the coext of efforts to provide the health and security of Rafiq al -Hariri Iernational Airport, Lebanon’s airspace, citizens and airlines and after coordinating with the airport security forces.”
According to the stateme, “these measures are based on iernational laws and criteria and the ICAA and Lebanese laws.”
