Iraqi Electricity Minister Zayd Ali Fazel issued a comprehensive measures to supply electricity during the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Musa bin Ja’far (PBUH), Mehr News Agency reported.
He ordered that the first and second loops of the holy city of Kazim be excluded from the power outage in Iraq. He emphasized the importance of coinuous supply of electricity in providing services to pilgrims.
At the behest of the Iraqi Minister of Electricity, the pilgrims moving towards Kazim were also excluded from the power outage program, and equipme was allocated to ensure electricity coinuing.
A headquarters in Kazim was also set up to follow up on the electricity situation, and maienance teams were deployed throughout the city to address any unexpected problems that may arise for the electricity grid.
Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Xia al -Sudani, on the other hand, was chaired by a meeting to pursue a plan to transmit and distribute electricity for next summer. At the meeting, he received a full report on numerous projects within the framework of the Ministry of Electricity.
At the meeting, al -Sudani also ordered the ability to increase the capacity of electricity imports by connecting the Iraqi electricity grid to neighboring electricity grid.
