According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Al-Arabiya, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan arrived in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, on an official visit.
The Saudi Foreign Minister last visited Beirut 15 years ago.
Saudi Foreign Minister’s emphasis on adherence to the ceasefire agreeme in Lebanon
After meeting with Lebanese Preside Joseph Aoun, the Saudi Foreign Minister said in a press conference that he discussed with the Lebanese Preside the importance of adhering to the ceasefire agreeme and the implemeation of Resolution 1701.
He added: “In this meeting, I emphasized the coinued support of Saudi Arabia for Lebanon and the people of this coury.”
The Saudi Foreign Minister said that we look optimistically at the future of Lebanon and the implemeation of reforms in this coury.
