According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al-Mayadin, Russian Preside Vladimir Putin during a joi press conference with our coury’s Preside Massoud Mezikian in Moscow emphasized that the relations between the two couries are broad and in line with their ierests.
Putin added: The signing of the comprehensive strategic agreeme pursues lofty goals. Today, Iran is taking forward steps regarding its relations with Russia, and there are very importa fields regarding energy-related relations between the two couries.
He stated: We attach great importance to expanding relations with Iran in the future. The agreeme with Iran is considered a unique leap in bilateral relations. There is consensus between Russia and Iran regarding foreign issues.
Putin clarified: We discussed various issues in the meeting with the preside of the medical profession and there are agreemes in this regard. We emphasized the need to protect the sovereigy of couries. Regarding Syria, Moscow emphasizes the need to protect the coury’s territorial iegrity and sovereigy, and we hope that the Syrian nation will overcome all the curre obstacles.
He said: Regarding the ceasefire in Gaza, we hope that this process will lead to the release of prisoners and the arrival of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
Putin said: We wa efforts to fully resolve conflicts in Palestine, including the formation of an independe state in this region, not to be weakened.
The preside of our coury also emphasized that the relations between Iran and Russia should be developed in economic and construction fields. He stated that the meioned agreeme is considered to be the opening of a new chapter in the commercial and economic relations between the two couries.
The doctor added that in his meeting in Russia, he discussed the fight against terrorism and the areas related to the South Caucasus and the Middle East.
He stated: We reached a common poi of view regarding the aggression of the Zionist regime against Gaza and Lebanon and the necessity of ending these aggressions.
Putin also coinued: Energy is considered the most importa sector in the relations between Russia and Iran, and the construction of 2 new sectors in the Bushehr nuclear power pla will greatly strengthen energy security in Iran.
He said: The expansion of the North-South iernational crossing creates a new opportunity for cooperation between the two couries in the field of transportation.
