Russia facilitates Vietnam’s joining BRICS

During his visit to Vietnam, the Russian Prime Minister said that Russia is ready to facilitate Vietnam’s joining BRICS as a “partner coury”.
According to Isna, a joi stateme was published on Wednesday during the visit of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to Vietnam, in which this case was meioned.
According to the News agency “Novosti”, the joi stateme states: “The Russian side welcomed Vietnam’s active participation in BRICS eves in 2024 and declares its readiness to facilitate joining the bloc as a partner coury.”
Since its inception in 2009, BRICS has championed a multipolar iernational order and a fair global financial and trading system. The BRICS nations are considering a new reserve currency that would allow their couries greater economic independence.
Five couries, including Iran, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia and Egypt, became full members of the “BRICS” group on January 1, 2024 (11 January 1402), which is now called “BRICS+”.
The BRICS group was founded in 2006 by Brazil, Russia, India and China, while South Africa joined the bloc in 2011 and Brazil will hold its rotating presidency in 2025.
The Russian Prime Minister we on to say that Moscow and Hanoi have great poteial for developing relations: “Russia was to strengthen practical cooperation with Vietnam, especially in the fields of energy and transportation.”
In his meeting with the Preside of Vietnam, he said: “We support the strengthening of practical cooperation with friendly Vietnam in all fields, primarily in the field of energy, industrial cooperation, transportation and agriculture. We also have a lot of poteial to increase mutual investmes.”
