“Sacred Valley” (Sacred Valley) located near the city of Cuzco and Machu Picchu, is one of the most importa historical and natural places in South America in Peru. Once the ceer of the Inca civilization, this valley is known for its fertile lands, magnifice temples and stunning mouain views. The Sacred Valley consists of a collection of small towns and villages, each with its own historical sites, including ancie ruins, terraced farms, and amazing Inca architecture.
The curre inhabitas of the Sacred Valley are mainly the descendas of the natives of Peru who coinue to live a simple life and adhere to their traditions. Many of them are engaged in agriculture, handicrafts and tourism. This community still preserves the culture and language of “Quechuan” and traditional festivals with ancie rituals are widely held in this area. Visiting the Sacred Valley is an opportunity to connect with the history, nature, and living culture of the Incas and its indigenous people.
