Trump’s request to delay the seencing was denied

A New York appeals court denied the preside-elect’s request to delay seencing on January 10 in his criminal case for falsifying business records and paying bribes.
According to RCO News Agency, the Court of Appeals of New York, the highest court of this state, rejected the request of “Donald Trump”, the preside-elect of the United States, to stop the issuance of the seence on January 10 in his criminal case.
On Wednesday, Trump simultaneously demanded the suspension of the court order and the closure of his other cases, including the accusation of paying bribes.
According to ABC News, prosecutors from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office argued in a filing Thursday morning, before the court handed down its verdict, that Trump’s explanation for delaying the seencing was based on the “absolutely baseless” notion of presideial immunity. The chosen one is stable.
In response to Trump’s argume, attorneys for the Manhattan district attorney asked the New York Court of Appeals to deny Trump’s request because, they said, “the preside-elect does not enjoy the immunity afforded to the sitting preside.”
“The preside-elect, by definition, is not yet the preside,” the filing said. Therefore, according to the US Constitution, the elected preside does not perform any of the duties of Article 2 of the Constitution.”
Donald Trump is scheduled to be seenced Friday after he was convicted in May of 34 felony cous of falsifying business records related to paying porn star Stormy Daniels to boost his chances in the 2016 presideial election. to be
Attorneys for the Manhattan district attorney also asked the U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday to reject Trump’s request to block his seencing.
“Defenda now asks this court to take the extraordinary step of iervening in a state criminal trial to preve the scheduled seencing,” their stateme read. There is no basis for such an ierveion.”
Prosecutors argued that presideial immunity does not apply to Trump because he is not preside uil Jan. 20, the day of his inauguration.
“It is obvious that there is only one preside at any time,” the attorneys for the district attorney’s office in Manhattan said. “No judicial decision or Departme of Justice directive has ever recognized that the unique temporary immunity of a sitting preside extends to the preside-elect.”
Prosecutors also told the New York Court of Appeals that the jury in Trump’s trial had seen “overwhelming” evidence that he was guilty.
According to ABC News, Trump can be seenced to four years in prison. But the New York judge has announced that he iends to seence Trump to unconditional deportation. The reason for this decision is respect for Trump’s victory in the presideial election.
