Summoning the Italian ambassador to the Iranian Foreign Ministry

The Italian ambassador in Tehran was summoned to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in protest of the coinued illegal deteion of Iranian citizens.
According to RCO News Agency, due to the coinued deteion of Iranian citizen Mohammad Abedini by Italy, Ms. Paula Amadei, the Italian ambassador in Tehran, was summoned on Friday, January 14, 1403 by Majid Nili Ahmadabadi, the director general of Western Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During this summons, the Director General of Western Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the arrest of Mohammad Abedini is an illegal act that was carried out at the request of the US governme and in line with the proven political and hostile goals of this coury to take hostages of Iranian nationals in all corners of the world by imposing executions.
