According to the Mehr news agency, shipping related sources told al-Masira news website that maritime exchanges between Turkey and the Zionist regime have increased sharply to compensate for Tel Aviv’s restrictions caused by Yemeni military operations in the Red Sea.
Meanwhile, Ankara has repeatedly announced that it has cut off its business relations with the Zionist regime as a result of this regime’s operation in Gaza.
Shipping sources told Al-Masira that the moveme of ships from Türkiye to the occupied territories has increased significaly during the 15 mohs of the Zionist regime’s genocide in Gaza.
According to this report, from May 3 to December 7, 2024, when the Ankara governme announced that it had severed its relations with the Zionist regime, business activities between Turkey and Israel increased significaly.
These communications are carried out by the Egyptian governme through the Mediterranean Sea, and the cargoes se reach the ports of Haifa and Ashdod.
According to these sources, the number of ships in traffic between the two sides has exceeded 340 cargoes.
This report emphasizes that the number of ships se from Türkiye to Israeli ports from May to December 2024 was 108 ships. The cargoes of these ships were oil, petrochemicals, citrus fruits and other basic materials.
These sources stated that the number of ships carrying oil and petrochemicals from Türkiye to the occupied territories amoued to 48 cargoes, which were moved by 25 ships. The number of cargoes coaining esseial materials is 19, which were transported by 11 ships.
