Kolba: Ukraine’s joining NATO is the only obstacle to revenge war against Russia
Ukraine’s former foreign minister warned that the coury’s capacity to adopt “retaliatory policies should not be underestimated” and said that Ukraine’s joining NATO is the only way to avoid a retaliatory war against Russia in the future.

The former foreign minister of Ukraine had previously warned many times that NATO’s reluctance to accept Ukraine’s membership would significaly hinder the possibility of achieving a peaceful solution to the war with Russia.
Moscow has opposed Kiev’s membership in this Western military alliance as a threat to Russia’s national security. Kiev’s official refusal to join NATO and its neutrality are the main conditions for Moscow to start peace talks.
In an ierview with the Kyiv Independe, Kulba said that it is possible that in the short term, the parties could reach a ceasefire without Ukraine’s NATO membership, noting that this “will not mean the end of the war and preve the next war.”
