Pakistan’s reaction to the new US sanctions; Our nuclear program is defensive

In response to the new US sanctions against Pakistan’s ballistic missile program, the coury’s prime minister said that Pakistan’s nuclear program is 100% defensive in nature.
According to RCO News Agency, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif condemned the US sanctions against the coury’s ballistic missile program today (Tuesday) and said that this action has no justification.
Sharif said in the governme cabinet meeting: “The sanctions that have been imposed against the National Developme Complex and our other institutions have no justification… Pakistan has no ieion of developing an offensive nuclear system and this system is only for Pakistan’s defense and that’s it.”
The National Developme Complex, which operates in the field of defense and aerospace and belongs to the Ministry of Defense of Pakistan, is one of the four companies that have been sanctioned by the United States.
Earlier, the governme of Pakistan expressed its regrets about the sanctions of the United States and emphasized that Washington’s biased policies have destructive consequences for the strategic stability of the region and beyond.
In September of this year, the United States sanctioned several Chinese supplier companies and a Pakistani eity for allegedly participating in Pakistan’s ballistic missile program.
In addition, Washington blacklisted four Belarusian and Chinese companies in April for allegedly supplying parts to Pakistan’s long-range missile program.
