Sullivan: Qasd is our best ally against ISIS

The National Security Advisor of the United States considered the Syrian Kurds to be the best ally of the United States in the fight against ISIS and expressed concern that Ankara’s conflict with this group will reduce their ability to fight against ISIS.
According to RCO News Agency, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said he had a conversation with US Preside-elect Donald Trump about Iran’s nuclear program.
Claiming that Iran is in a weak position, he said that now there is an opportunity that he hopes Trump will use to reach an agreeme, an agreeme that will limit Iran’s alleged “nuclear ambitions”.
Sullivan also made the claim that the axis of resistance has been weakened and claimed that curres in Iran are seeking to acquire nuclear weapons.
Saying that he had discussed Iran’s nuclear program with represeatives of the Zionist regime, Sullivan said that he had also informed Trump about these details.
He also said that Russia is trying to maiain its bases in the western regions of Syria and the eastern Mediterranean Sea and claimed that Moscow could not preve the fall of the Syrian governme due to the conflict in the Ukraine war.
The American National Security Adviser said that Washington’s biggest concern in Syria is the possibility of ISIS taking advaage of the lack of authority in some areas of the coury.
The American official described the Syrian Kurds as the best partners of the United States in the fight against ISIS, and said that Washington is worried that if Turkey eers io a conflict with the Kurds, their ability to fight against the growth of ISIS will decrease.
Saying that the Syrian Kurds are responsible for corolling the ISIS prisoners, Sullivan said that the release of these people is a significa threat and that is why the United States will coinue to support the “Syrian Democratic Forces” known as the “QSD”.
The US national security adviser also stated that he advised the incoming administration of US Preside-elect Donald Trump to coinue to be prese in Syria and try to fight the growth of ISIS.
