Regarding the developmes in Syria, this senior American official said: “We are negotiating with Turkey about advancing the situation in Syria and we are aware of Turkey’s legitimate concerns about Syria.”
He stated: “We are communicating with Türkiye about the situation in northern Syria and we have tried to achieve a ceasefire in Manbij.”
Poiing out that the ceasefire between Turkey and the Syrian Democratic Forces has been extended uil the end of this week, the spokesperson of the US State Departme said: “We request that the ceasefire in Manbij be extended as much as possible.”
This American official further called the evidence related to mass graves in Syria shocking and demanded an answer in this regard.
In another part of his speech, he emphasized: “We wa to see a national governme in Syria that includes all the ethnic groups of this coury.”
