Undoubtedly, balanced and sustainable developme in the field of health goes through the path of scieific-research developme, and moving in the froiers of knowledge is not possible without the developme of research fields; This is the place where community health, as the most importa quality of life indicator, is linked with health research (medical sciences and health sciences).
Ranking 14th in the world and first in the region in science production are the goals defined in the “Seveh Progress Program” for the Ministry of Health, Treatme and Medical Education; To achieve these goals, we need to renovate, rebuild and equip research infrastructures; Also, education and training of professional researchers, providing researchers, studes and professors access to the latest research resources, researchers’ free access to data and information, supporting research projects and developing research gras, providing the possibility of attracting research faculty in universities and research ceers. improving the quality of scieific-research publications and supporting them, indexing, supporting science and technology parks, growth and technology ceers and their developme, creating and strengthening research hubs in universities and medical and health research ceers; It is in this direction that, while training researchers, a suitable environme is provided for elitism and attracting elites in the field of research.
“Science” and “research” are global categories and without the developme of iernational scieific-research ieractions, we cannot expect the prosperity of research and technology. Removing obstacles to the developme and expansion of research and academic cooperation at the transnational level is one of the most importa programs of the Ministry of Health, Treatme and Medical Education. Also, if we place the basis of developme in the field of “problem-orieed” research, we are in dire need of eering the field of “ierdisciplinary” and “ierdisciplinary” research in medical and health sciences.
