Waving of the Russian flag in 2 villages of Donetsk
Russian troops raised the coury’s flag in 2 villages in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
According to Isna, “Vladimir Rogov”, the head of the Russian civil governance commission and the co-head of the coordinating council for the iegration of new regions, announced that Russian forces are currely conducting operations to clean up scattered groups of the Ukrainian army.
He told Sputnik News agency: “Our army has raised the flags of the Russian Federation in the villages of Anovka and Uspenovka in the Donetsk region, and the operation to clear the remaining scattered groups of Ukrainian soldiers is underway.
Rogov also reported that a Ukrainian coinge of 700 personnel was completely surrounded south of Kurakhovo in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) near these villages.
He further stated that the cleaning operation in the neighboring village of Veselyi Gai is also underway.
Korakhov is a city in the western part of this region, located 46 km from Donetsk and 30 km south of Krasnoarmisk (Pokrovsk). As the largest settleme in the southwest of the Donbass region, which has been under Kiev corol for the longest time since the liberation of Ugledar, this city is of significa operational importance.
Following the achievemes of the Russian army in the war with Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Moscow announced in a stateme that it shot down 15 Ukrainian drones last night.
It is stated in this stateme: During last night, when Kyiv used fixed-wing drones to attack targets on the territory of the Russian Federation, active air defense systems destroyed and iercepted 15 Ukrainian drones. 13 drones were destroyed over the Black Sea and 2 more drones were destroyed over Kursk and Belgorod regions.
According to Sputnik, Ukraine has been sending drones and missiles to Russia almost every day since the start of its couerattack in early June 2023. Last August, after the failed drone attack on Moscow, the United Nations declared that it did not wa to witness any targeting of civilian infrastructure.
Russian officials have repeatedly condemned Ukrainian drone attacks on civilian infrastructure as acts of terrorism, highlighting the nature of Kiev’s actions.
