Preside of Serbia: I am not Assad – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency

Referring to the fall of Syrian Preside Bashar Assad’s governme, Serbian Preside Aleksandar Vucic said that Western couries are trying to change the regime in Serbia, but the governme of this coury will not back down, according to Mehr news agency, citing Rashatoudi.
Since the start of the Ukrainian war in February 2022, Serbia has always emphasized its neutrality and refused to join the EU sanctions against Moscow. After the fall of the Assad governme in Syria, some opposition activists compared Vucic to Assad and expressed hope that he would leave power and leave Serbia!
However, Vucic responded by publishing a video on the iernet and said: “If they think that I am Assad and I am running away, they are wrong, I will not do such a thing.”
He added: I will fight for Serbia and I will only serve my people. I will never serve foreigners or those who wa to defeat, humiliate and destroy Serbia.
Vučić called the opposition critics and protesters the ages of foreign powers, with foreign funding and part of a combined tactics to undermine Serbia.
Although the Serbian Preside’s party has an overwhelming majority in the parliame, several opposition parties are calling for the resignation of the cabinet, referring to the November 1 incide in the northern city of Novi Sad!
They blame the governme for the collapse of the concrete canopy of the Novi Sad train station, which killed 15 and injured two.
