According to RCO News Agency, citing Iran Information Science and Technology Research Institute (Irandoc), the meeting “Comprehensive Scieific Map of the Coury, Achievemes, Gaps and Challenges” was held as a pre-meeting of the national conference on the model of civilized governance of science and technology, on December 4, 1403, at Irandoc. . In this meeting, Mohammad Hassanzadeh, the head of the Research Institute of Science and Information Technology of Iran, reviewed the performance and achievemes of the comprehensive scieific map of the coury as well as the existing challenges.
Hassanzadeh considered the compilation of the comprehensive scieific map of the coury as an unprecedeed initiative in the field of science, technology and innovation and said: This map created a comprehensive and organized view of science, technology and innovation in the coury for the first time and was able to bring universities, research institutes and related institutions in a unified direction. align

He also criticized over-reliance on ratings and said: ratings do not necessarily reflect reality. The first position in a region or geography does not guaraee scieific and technological progress. The comprehensive plan should focus more on solving national problems and influencing science and technology.

The preside of Irandak suggested that in the revision of the comprehensive scieific map of the coury, updating mechanisms to adapt to rapid changes should be considered, division of institutional work should be made more transpare and without overlapping, and measurable and reality-based indicators should be developed.
