Global warming has made Atlaic hurricanes significaly stronger, a new study suggests. In other words, climate changes caused by human activities have caused hurricanes to blow with higher wind speed and cause more damage.
According to Tekna Technology Media’s environmeal news service, based on this study, in the last six years, the wind speed of Atlaic hurricanes has increased by an average of 18 kilometers per hour. This increase in speed has caused many storms to be upgraded to a stronger category. For example, Category 5 hurricanes, which are the strongest type of hurricane, cause much more damage than Category 1, 2, 3, and 4 hurricanes.
