Hamas: Washington preseed the last ceasefire proposal in Gaza before the US elections – Mehr News Agency | RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Palestine’s Safa news agency, Osama Hamdan, one of the senior leaders of the Hamas moveme, told Al-Mayadeen network: “The latest American proposal for a cease-fire agreeme in Gaza was preseed before the presideial elections of this coury.”
He added: Israel seeks to return its prisoners to the resistance and was the resistance forces to surrender, then TelAviv decide whether to end the war or coinue it.
Hamdan added: Israel seeks to achieve things in negotiations that it failed to achieve on the battlefield, and this is not possible.
This Hamas official coinued: “It is importa for us to stop the conflict and impleme a ceasefire for the Palestinian nation, and the statemes made about a 5-day ceasefire and returning to war again do not fulfill this demand of our people.”
He meioned the negotiations in Cairo with the Fatah group and said that in a meeting held in Egypt with the Fatah moveme, we reached an agreeme to form a committee to manage the affairs of the Gaza Strip.
A senior Hamas official stated: It was expected that a meeting with the Fatah moveme would be held to complete the issues raised, but this meeting was canceled due to some developmes, including the martyrdom of Yahya. Al-Sanuwar was delayed
Hamdan emphasized the position of the Hamas moveme, which is the formation of a Palestinian national unity governme to manage the affairs of the Palestinians, and said: Of course, no agreeme has yet been reached on the formation of this governme.
