According to the Mehr news agency, citing the Institute for Citation and Monitoring of Science and Technology of the Islamic World (ISC), Dr. Ali Naibi, Vice Preside of Technology and Innovation of ISC, said: Turkey, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Malaysia have the highest number of degrees with 1873, 1625, and 1611 degrees, respectively. They have produced scieific products in the fifth generation technologies of the industry.
He said: The Islamic Republic of Iran has taken the first place among the couries of the Islamic world in the field of advanced technologies in the field of 4D priing.
Dr. Ali Naibi, Vice Preside of Technology and Innovation of ISC Institute, said: referring to the importance of the fifth generation of industry, he stated: The fifth generation of industry is rooted in the concept of the fourth generation industry, and it is based on the study of the progress of couries in the first decade of the 21st ceury and their ability to create lasting effects in the decades The future pays.
He added: This generation of industry not only focuses on meeting economic needs, but also pays special atteion to environmeal needs and emphasizes green production as a key priority.
Naybi announced: The fifth generation industry aims to fulfill the promises of advanced digitization, big data and artificial ielligence, and seeks to strengthen the role of these technologies in response to new needs and emerging requiremes in the industrial, social and environmeal fields.
He emphasized: This approach will include extensive use of data and artificial ielligence to increase production flexibility and create more powerful value chains in the era of digital transformation.
Naybi further poied to the key technologies in this field and said: In the fifth generation of the industry, technologies such as 4D priing, collaborative robots (cobots), augmeed and virtual reality, cognitive computing, digital twin and additive manufacturing are used.
According to him; These technologies design production processes in such a way that humans play a ceral role in them and have the ability to adjust and optimize these processes based on their needs. This transformation will create a platform for the progress of various industries and increase creativity and efficiency in production.
Emphasizing the importance of the fifth generation technologies of the industry, Naybi said: the investigation and analysis of the scieific status of these technologies among the leading global and Islamic couries in a 10-year period has an importa role in the developme of this field.
Referring to the situation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in some areas of fifth generation technologies, he added: despite the appropriate progress in the developme of technology and products, due to some limitations, the amou of dissemination of Iran’s scieific products in the iernational arena has been limited.
The Vice Preside of Technology and Innovation of ISC Institute said: As shown in Figure (1), the growth trend of research conducted in the field of fourth and fifth generation technologies of the industry is increasing from 2014 to 2023. According to the results obtained from the Web of Science database, 1092305 researches have been conducted in the field of fourth generation technologies of the industry, and it has reached 53823 researches in 2014 to 155081 researches in 2023. Also, 159 thousand 243 researches have been conducted in the field of fifth generation technologies of the industry and it has reached 25278 researches in 2023 from 6 thousand 380 researches in 2014.
