Washington: We coinue to support Israel’s right to defend itself

In a stateme, the US State Departme emphasized its support for the Zionist regime and the alleged right of the occupiers to defend themselves.
According to Isna, the US State Departme announced on Wednesday evening, in an alleged, hostile and unilateral stateme: “We are focused on sending Iranian weapons to Hezbollah, which is the main source of instability in the Middle East.”
This claim is made while the represeatives of the member states of the United Nations Security Council in today’s meeting of this council announced that the American support to the Zionist regime and the coinued sending of weapons by the United States to the occupied territories is the main reason for the ongoing instability and war in West Asia.
Earlier, the Security Council held a meeting to review the draft resolution proposed to achieve an immediate and permane ceasefire in Gaza. Despite the agreeme of the western couries with this resolution, America preveed its approval with its veto.
This issue angered many couries. The justification of “Robert Wood”, the deputy ambassador of the United States in the United Nations, in vetoing this resolution was the lack of “request for the release of prisoners” in the draft of the resolution, which caused the represeatives of France, England, Russia and China to openly declare that the aforemeioned resolution coains such a clause. It had in itself, and America has vetoed this resolution only in support of the crimes of the Zionist regime.
Nevertheless, the US State Departme coinued its alleged stateme and in an attempt to whitewash its participation in the crimes of the Zionist regime and in defense of this regime’s actions, claimed: “We coinue to support Israel’s right to defend itself and coinue to do so.” “We are witnessing the threats of Iran and its ages in the region against Israel.”
On the other hand, in coinuation of its ai-Iranian stateme, this ministry addressed the issue of the Board of Governors of the Iernational Atomic Energy Agency and the possibility of issuing an ai-Iranian resolution and announced: “We will cooperate with the Iernational Atomic Energy Agency to hold Iran accouable for its nuclear program.”
Again, this hostile claim and running away from Washington to justify its ai-Iranian action while, according to Rafael Grossi, the Secretary General of the Iernational Atomic Energy Agency, Iran is taking constructive measures, including an agreeme to limit its stockpile of enriched uranium with a purity of 60 is a perceage
Earlier, Grossi admitted in a press conference that Iran is taking constructive measures and that the production of nuclear weapons has no place in this coury’s policy.
Nevertheless, the ai-Iranian resolution proposed by Western couries (European troika and America) has been preseed in the Council of Governors.
Western disruption in the ieraction between Iran and the Agency
In this regard, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a telephone call with the foreign ministers of a number of couries that are members of the Iernational Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors, including Brazil, South Africa, Bangladesh, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Pakistan and France, with Referring to the importa role of the Council of Governors in protecting the credibility of this organization and ensuring its professional status and independe performance, he considered the curre meeting of this Council to be importa in this regard.
While explaining the constructive approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran in relation to the Iernational Atomic Energy Agency, the head of the diplomatic agency considered the actions of some western member couries of the Agency to propose a resolution against the Islamic Republic of Iran as an unjustified action that could disrupt the technical and professional functions of the Agency.
Condemning the non-constructive and unjustified actions of the three European couries towards the peaceful nuclear program of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Araghchi recalled the understandings reached between Iran and the IAEA during the rece visit of the Director General of the Iernational Atomic Energy Agency to Tehran and clarified that the inappropriate actions of the three couries Europeans to issue a resolution against Iran will only weaken and disrupt ieractive processes between the Agency and Iran.
Araghchi called for the member states of the Council of Governors to oppose the move of three European couries and to preve the Council of Governors from becoming a platform for advancing the political ambitions of some western couries that have nuclear weapons and their supporters.
