Iraq: We will not allow an attack from our soil – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, news agency Waa Iraq quoted Major General Yahya Rasool, the spokesman of the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, as saying: The Iraqi governme will coinue its actions to preve the use of the coury’s soil for any attack.
General Rasool emphasized: The Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces told the Air Defense to impleme all necessary measures to protect Iraq’s airspace and ensure the security of the coury’s vital and iernal goals.
He noted that the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces has stated that the Iraqi commanders have full responsibility to preve any action that may threaten the security of the coury.
Rasool also added that the Iraqi governme coinues its efforts to preve the use of the coury’s lands to carry out attacks, and these efforts have so far led to the seizure of ready-to-fire weapons.
He emphasized that people who participate in such activities that threaten Iraq’s national security and territorial iegrity will be prosecuted.
Rasool coinued that the security agencies are determined to ideify the perpetrators of these actions and iroduce them to the judicial system for punishme according to the law.
In the end, the spokesman of the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces said: The coury’s security forces are determined to neutralize any threat to the security and stability of the society and ensure public security.
