According to RCO News Agency, citing Reuters, South Korea’s Joi Chiefs of Staff claimed on Tuesday: North Korea has fired several short-range ballistic missiles towards the sea east of the Korean Peninsula.

South Korea has announced that it will closely share information with the United States and Japan and strengthen monitoring of North Korean missile tests.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Defense of Japan announced an hour ago that North Korea fired a ballistic missile towards the Sea of Japan.
The two couries did not meion the details and type of missile fired by North Korea.
North Korea’s launch of new ballistic missiles comes days after the coury insisted that testing an ICBM was Pyongyang’s sovereign right to defend itself.
North Korea’s foreign ministry said in a stateme on Saturday that Pyongyang’s rece iercoineal ballistic missile test was a “legitimate and sovereign right of self-defense” and part of a couermeasure in response to provocative actions by hostile forces.
