The Eternity in Now exhibition preses coemporary art against the majestic backdrop of the Egyptian pyramids to invite visitors to travel through time, somewhere between the past and the prese.
“Forever Is Now” is a coemporary art exhibition that brings together artists from the region and around the world to depict the wonders of an ancie civilization through the lens of their works. This annual exhibition is held at the 4,500-year-old UNESCO World Heritage site, Egypt’s Giza Pyramids and its surrounding plateau.
The Eternity Now exhibition depicts a reflection of ancie rituals, vibra civilizations and buried stories that have yet to be discovered; In fact, this eve showcases the connection between past and prese by exploring the hidden narratives of history and culture and reminds us of the coinuous and dynamic importance of storytelling.
In this exhibition, deep human concepts such as the search for understanding and meaning are discussed, and the artists invite the audience to re-view the world from differe angles by using unconveional materials. In an attractive way, the works of this exhibition question the spatial relationships and our perceptions of history and nature and prese a modern ierpretation of ancie concepts such as hope, faith and transcendence. Artists, in the form of modern archaeologists, use creativity to discover hidden meanings and concepts in social structures.
In the 2024 exhibition, in addition to providing an artistic space for visitors, the possibility of cultural ieractions and exchange of ideas with local communities has also been created, and with the cooperation of artisans, studes and workers, access to coemporary art is possible for the general public. In this multicultural environme, visitors and artists learn together how ancie history and legends can inspire future generations.
This eve also examines the cultural heritage of ancie Egypt from a new angle and tries to provide a new understanding of history and the importance of narration by relying on the deep beliefs and knowledge of that time to help the formation of a coemporary artistic heritage in a place of global value.
