Moscow’s readiness to mediate in the Lebanon war
The spokesman of the Kremlin stated that Russia is ready to mediate in the Lebanon war and said that the rece statemes of “Donald Trump” are caused by the election ehusiasm and the approach of the election day.
According to Isna, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said today (Friday) about the possibility of Russia mediating in possible negotiations between Hezbollah and the Zionist regime, that Russia is ready to take steps wherever its efforts can be effective.
Stating that Russia maiains its relations with all parties to the conflict in West Asia, he said: “If our efforts can be effective somewhere, Russia is undoubtedly ready to act.”
Also, in response to today’s statemes by US presideial candidate “Donald Trump” that he has closed the Nord Stream 2 gas transmission pipeline project, Peskov noted that these statemes were made at the height of the election campaign.
Earlier, in an ierview with American journalist Tucker Carlsen, Trump said that he was the one who shut down Nord Stream 2. This is the largest gas transmission pipeline from Russia to Germany.
Peskov said: “At the height of this election campaign, we hear such statemes. This is difficult to understand. Maybe it’s better for you to ask the election headquarters of this candidate.”
In his remarks today, Trump also criticized the curre administration of US Preside Joe Biden and said: “We are a declining nation. Look what these fools have done! They let China, Russia, North Korea and Iran unite. China and Russia should never have united, but we united them!” He further promised that if he wins the election, he will “separate” China and Russia.
In response to these statemes, the spokesman of the Kremlin emphasized that the cooperation between Russia and China did not target the ierests of any third coury, and said that it is not clear why the United States was to stop this cooperation.
Peskov said: “It is not clear why we should separate, why we should ierfere in the cooperation between Russia and China.” This cooperation is really special, special and a strategic partnership. “The main feature of our cooperation with China is that it is not against third couries.”
