China: Our position in the Ukraine conflict is always to support negotiations
The spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy in Washington said that Beijing’s position on the Ukraine conflict has not changed and China still was to resolve this conflict through negotiations.
According to Isna, “Liu Pengyu”, the spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy in the United States, in response to the talks between Beijing and Washington about the possibility of sending North Korean soldiers to Russia, said that China has not changed its position on the Ukraine conflict and was to resolve it through negotiations.
US Secretary of State Ahony Blinken said on Thursday that the United States had a serious discussion with China this week regarding the alleged presence of North Korean troops on Russian soil.
Liu Pengyu said in this regard: “China’s position on the Ukraine crisis is firm and clear.” China is trying for peace talks and a political solution to the Ukraine crisis. This position remains unchanged. “China will coinue to play a constructive role in this field.”
Regarding the reports about the coacts between Washington and Beijing, the spokesperson noted that China and the United States have always maiained their regular, routine and regular communication on China-US relations and iernational and regional issues.
The United States, citing its ielligence sources, has claimed that about eight thousand soldiers from North Korea are now in the Kursk region of Russia near the Ukrainian border, and that Moscow plans to use them in the war against Ukraine.
The US secretary of state also said on Thursday that North Korean troops are expected to be se to the fro lines in the next few days.
