Belgrade: Serbia welcomes cooperation with BRICS couries
The Minister of Iernational Economic Cooperation of Serbia said that his coury is determined to strengthen the mutually beneficial cooperation with BRICS, because the future is in the hands of this group of couries.
According to RCO News Agency, Nenad Popovic, Minister of Iernational Economic Cooperation of Serbia, who traveled to Kazan, Russia, on the sidelines of the 2024 BRICS summit, stated that his coury is ready to strengthen cooperation with member couries of this group, and noted that BRICS represes friendly couries that It respects us, appreciates our independe policy, respects iernational laws and is willing to develop the most beneficial economic cooperation with us.
Emphasizing that Serbia has good relations with all BRICS couries, he said that “Russia and China are our strategic partners”.
The Serbian minister added: Belgrade is implemeing some of the biggest infrastructure projects with the BRICS couries. Our preside recely signed a free trade agreeme with Egypt, and a similar agreeme with China we io effect three mohs ago.
He also meioned the new economic cooperation projects with South Africa and added: We have a very ieresting economic plan for the future with the couries of Africa and the Middle East, the couries that most wa to join BRICS.
“Serbia is determined to cooperate with all BRICS couries, because it is a very beneficial cooperation,” Popovic said. And I am sure that in the next 5-10 years, the graph of Serbia’s economic ieraction with the BRICS couries will coinue to rise.
