Lukashenko: I had private negotiations with Western represeatives
The Preside of Belarus announced his private negotiations with represeatives of Western couries.
According to Isna, according to the Belarusian News agency “Belta”, Alexander Lukashenko, the preside of Belarus, announced today (Saturday) in a speech at a festival in the city of “Volozhin” that he held private talks a day before on Friday with “represeatives of the couries West” has held.
Lukashenko stated in this speech: “Everyone participates in the exam during the pre-election period. Coinuing his speech, he clarified: “I did not appear in public yesterday (October 18), but this day was a very difficult day. Referring to the many eves being held in his coury, including the “Unity Marathon”, the Preside of Belarus said: “I asked the opposition forces and governme employees to organize this great eve throughout the coury to show not only the workers and farmers but also Innovators also deserve our approval. Alexander Lukashenko received Russia’s highest medal from Putin 10 days ago after meeting with “Vladimir Putin” on the sidelines of the Summit of the Heads of Independe Cooperative Couries in Moscow.
On August 30, Putin signed the decree to award this medal to Lukashenko at the same time as his 70th birthday.
In his meeting with Putin, Lukashenko said: “The West has designed a plan to strangle us (referring to Belarus and Russia), first of all in economy and finance, but they have already admitted it.”
Lukashenko noted: “The couries that emerged from the collapse of the Soviet Union took the approach of keeping what they had, which was beneficial.
