Azadi Tower is one of the symbols of the capital of Iran and is one of the first attractions that foreign tourists visit.
Azadi Tower or Shahyad Tower is one of the famous attractions of Tehran. This tall building was built in 1350, for many years it was considered as the tallest building in Tehran and a symbolic attraction of the city. “Hossein Amanat”, a promine Iranian architect, is known as the designer of this tower, and the purpose of its construction is to provide the capital with a memorial for the 2500 years of imperial celebrations. Today, foreign tourists visit this unique attraction and take souvenir photos with the symbol of Iran’s capital. The square around the tower has recely become a place for citizens to settle down; So it may not be so safe during the night. Also, crossing the street and going to the square is a lot of trouble; Because the traffic laws in Iran are not very favorable; But the tower itself is beautiful and is divided io many rooms, each of which has its own characteristics. Various galleries have been set up around the tower; But a separate ticket is required to visit them. The view from the top is very beautiful.

It is in the ceer of Tehran and from there you can go to the Grand Bazaar by subway or bus. There are exhibition sections on the ground floor.

The best place to take beautiful photos! This memorial reminds us of the Islamic Revolution and is part of Iran’s cultural heritage. The sign and symbol of Iran! It has a very special shape and is like two hands holding each other. This means the power of the Iranian people when united. It is a great and amazing place. It is located in the ceer of Tehran and has easy access. Because there is a subway a few steps away. Many people can be seen taking pictures, and not only tourists, but also many Iranians who have immortalized themselves with this symbolic monume of freedom.

It is perhaps the most famous and symbolic spot in Tehran. It’s a little hard to get through the busy roundabout; But definitely worth a visit. The perspective from the bottom up under the arch is very impressive. I visited in June 2019.

I have friends from Iran, and they all told me many stories about Iran B, as well as Azadi Tower and Freedom Square; So, the first day I we to Iran, I visited this tower. The architecture is amazing. Inside there are flags of differe couries and I was very happy to see the Bulgarian flag (of course it was left behind; but I’m not disappoied). There is a conference room in this complex. I am very fascinated by Iran in general.
