Pointing out that support for science, technology and innovation can lead to wealth and effect, he said: The second reason for the decrease in scientific rank is that our support for science, technology and innovation is not consistent. We have many actors in this field, each of them going their own way. If all these actors follow a coherent policy and convergent mechanisms, it will definitely grow day by day in the rankings and dissemination of science and the transformation of science into wealth and value, and that our society will experience the effect of science, technology and innovation in Life will take care of itself.

He pointed out: This issue shows that if the economic situation in the country is not suitable and it is experiencing a crisis, it needs more support for science, technology and innovation.

Professor of information science and epistemology of Tarbiat Modares University emphasized: Therefore, the fact that the economic situation of the country is not suitable is not a justification for paying less attention to science, technology and innovation. We should pay more and targeted attention to this issue so that we can solve the country’s problems.

Referring to the importance of paying attention to the empowerment of human resources, the head of Irandak said: We have not paid enough attention to empowering the research and development workforce and their professionalization. It doesn’t matter what problems and crises there are for the professional research and development force and they do their work. He doesn’t pay attention to the cold, the heat, the writings of a certain newspaper and the talks raised in a certain conversation and events; Because it is professional and if there is professionalism in science, technology and innovation, we can hope for the sustainable growth of science, technology and innovation.

Hassanzadeh stated that the monitoring system of science, technology and innovation in our country is incomplete and unresponsive, and said: We cannot quickly predict what is happening in science, technology and innovation in the world and what the trends and supertrends say so that we can make policies and programs. Let’s take ourselves in that direction.

He added: For this reason, we raise our voice of protest only when the trend is decreasing, and when we are growing, we remain silent, only to experience a downward trend again. This means that we have completely instinctive behavior and this behavior creates problems for the future of science, technology and innovation.

Referring to the existing upstream documents, the head of Irandak said: We have very important upstream documents; There is a comprehensive scientific map of the country, general policies announced by the Supreme Leader, and development plans, etc.; But we have not created an accurate and responsive system of data analysis of science, technology and innovation in the country, and if we have created it, it is not responsive enough.

He added: Even if it is responsive to the assumption, the policy making, planning and implementation are not consistent with it, and it feels unnecessary to those data and does its work. This lack of coordination creates problems.
