Zelensky: Trump supports Ukraine

The preside of Ukraine claimed that the former US preside supported Kiev in the war with Russia.
According to Isna, Ukrainian Preside Volodymyr Zelensky, after meeting with Donald Trump, the former Preside of the United States and the candidate of the Republican Party in the presideial elections of this coury, who is one of the main critics of the war in Ukraine and the policies of Kiev and its Western supporters for the coinuation of the war Est claimed: “During my meeting with the former US preside, he said that he would support Ukraine if he wins the presideial election.”
In an ierview with the American channel “Fox News“, while rejecting reports about his support for Kamala Harris, the candidate of the Democratic Party and Trump’s rival, he said: “I don’t know what the outcome of the American election will be, but Kiev was an answer from the United States.”
Zelensky emphasized: “Washington has always been the main supporter of Kyiv, in this regard, the position of the White House is of particular importance for Kyiv.”
He also described his conversation with Trump on Friday as “really productive,” adding, “I got very direct information from Donald Trump that he will stand by us and support Ukraine.”
Zelensky added that the Republican candidate was “very ierested” in getting information from him “directly” about the curre situation on the fro lines, as well as Ukraine’s needs.
Zelensky’s claim comes as the former US preside has claimed that he can force Zelensky and Russian Preside Vladimir Putin to find a diplomatic solution “within 24 hours” of being elected.
On the other hand, the Preside of Ukraine said in an ierview with the New Yorker magazine last Sunday that he believes that Trump “doesn’t really know how to stop the war, even if he thinks he does.”
Asked by the Fox News host if he still stands by that comme, Zelensky said that no one outside of Ukraine can really understand what the coury is going through.
“We both wa to see an end to this war, we both wa to see a fair deal,” Trump said after his meeting with Zelensky on Friday.
Meanwhile, the former US preside criticized Zelensky at a campaign rally on Wednesday for not negotiating with Russia to end the conflict, saying even the “worst deal” would be better than the curre situation. The former US preside also argued that neither his Democratic rival, Kamala Harris, nor the curre US preside know how to get the US out of the conflict in Ukraine.
Trump we on to claim that Zelensky was Harris to win the election because Democrats have proven reliably generous on Ukraine under Biden.
On the other hand, according to the German newspaper Spiegel, the Preside of Ukraine was humiliated in the meeting with Donald Trump, but he was afraid to react.
According to Spiegel, the atmosphere of the meeting between Zelenskyi and Trump clearly showed that these two figures are not very ierested in each other, but in addition, a lot of fear and humiliation was evide in Zelenskyi’s face.
According to this report, even many Ukrainian officials believed that Trump’s presidency would bring many opportunities for Ukraine in the war with Russia, but his rece meeting with Zelensky has certainly dimmed these hopes.
Trump, angered by Zelensky’s visit to an arms factory in Pennsylvania with the state’s Democratic governor in attendance, posted an image of a letter online that showed Zelensky had requested a visit.
However, according to SPIEGEL, Zelensky has learned to hide his fear and humiliation and not react because he has no other choice. According to this report, Zelensky had to be friendly with Trump in order to maiain his coury’s military capability, because if he reacted to his insults, it might negatively affect US military support for Kiev.
