Russian Preside Vladimir Putin said today (Thursday) that Russia has multiplied the production of much-needed weapons and improved their characteristics based on combat experience in the conditions of special military operations in Ukraine.

Thanks to such hard work of the employees of this industry, the output of the requested samples has multiplied, and their tactical and technical characteristics have been improved and adapted based on the characteristics of combat use.
The Russian preside said Moscow should fully meet the needs of the armed forces, increase the production of drones and iroduce artificial ielligence technologies, adding that the line of unmanned systems in Russia is expanding, and that unmanned boats and robotic platforms in are being created

According to Putin, Russia delivered 140,000 drones to the military in 2023 and plans to increase the target number by 10 times by 2024.

In the meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission, the Preside of Russia added: In total, in 2023, around 140,000 unmanned vehicles of various types have been delivered to the armed forces.

Putin added: “Mass production of UAVs will be carried out based on 48 special ceers.”
“Work on the design, testing and mass production of UAVs will be carried out on the basis of special research and production ceers, and by 2030, 48 sites of this type will be established in differe regions,” Putin said.
