Kirby He added: We are closely monitoring the situation in Lebanon and increasing our diplomatic efforts to preve the opening of a new fro in the region.
The spokesman of the National Security Council of the White House coinued that “achieving a ceasefire is the best solution and we will do our best to make it happen.”
