Ralph Lauren kicked off New York Fashion Week in Hampton Island, USA with a show that included all of the brand’s collections and was attended by many Hollywood stars. The American brand showcased its Spring 2025 collection on a 19-acre equestrian estate in Bridgehampton. Front row guests at the show included Usher, Naomi Watts, Jude Law, Justin Theroux, HER, Joey King, Brandon Sklenar, Laura Dern, Kacey Musgraves, Tom Hiddleston and Colman Domingo. America‘s choice to hold the show in the first stage was a tribute to Ezzedine Alaia’s show forty-two years ago, which was held at Bergdorf Goodman in New York on this day. Also, Peter Mollier himself worked at Calvin Klein in New York for about three years. But another reason for choosing America is marketing and retail issues. The US market is currently Alaia’s largest sales market. The brand has plans to expand its retail sales, relying on high-profile collections and items such as Mary Jane’s studded and mesh flats.
