The head of Royan Research Institute said: Today, the 25th Royan Congress and the awarding of Dr. Kazemi’s 6th Prize have started today, and 33 foreign speakers and 40 Iranian researchers and a total of 420 articles will be preseed in this program.
According to Mehr reporter, the awards ceremony of the 25th Royan Iernational Congress and the 6th Dr. Kazemi Award was attended by Hojjatul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Abdul Hossein Khosropaneh, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, Dr. Mohammad Reza Mokhbar Dezfuli, Head of the Academy of Sciences, Dr. Mehdi Islampanah, Head of the Standard Organization, Dr. Hassan Muslimi. Nayini, Preside of Jihad University, Dr. Shaghaiq Haqjo, Head of Strategic Technologies Developme Ceer of the Scieific Vice Preside, Dr. Abdul Hossein Shahvardi, Director of Royan Research Institute, Dr. Seyed Mahmoodreza Aghamiri, Preside of Shahid Beheshti University, Dr. Ahmad Vathouq, Vice Preside of Specialized Services of Royan, as well as a large number of domestic and foreign researchers. It was held at the iernational conference ceer of Shahid Beheshti University.
Dr. Abdul Hossein Shahvardi said in this ceremony: “Dr. Kazemi was a source of good and blessing for the progress of things during his lifetime, and today his name and memory are a source of good and blessing.”
Stating that Dr. Kazemi is an example of “Taez and Man Tasha”, he coinued: God has blessed his name because of the charitable works he has done. He started his work from a small clinic and gradually coinued.
The head of Royan Research Institute stated: We thank God that the name recognition of the coury’s youth and moveme in the froier of knowledge has been achieved and these measures have been able to raise the name of Kazemi Ashtiani and our beloved coury in scieific circles.
Referring to the achievemes of the Royan Research Institute, Shahvardi said: winning the science and technology award from ICESCO, the Equatorial Guinea Award, the Mustafa Award by Royan researchers, the selection of Royan as the nih coury among the top 10 infertility treatme couries, the presence of 5 researchers of the research institute among the most cited researchers. It is one of the honors of Royan.
He said: Today, due to the efforts of the researchers of this collection, the 25th Vision Congress and the awarding of the 6th Dr. Kazemi Award have started, and in this program, 33 foreign speakers and 40 Iranian researchers and a total of 420 articles will be preseed.
He said about Dr. Kazemi’s award: this award has been given to 5 researchers from America, Germany, Holland, and Italy. After 5 rounds of this year, Dr. Kazemi’s award became more structured and the statute of this award was compiled and announced.
Shahvardi explained about the selection process of Kazemi Award: In this process, 37 candidates were nominated based on the protocol, of which 9 were qualified and iroduced to the Award Policy Council. On June 17, the final winner was determined, and today Dr. Kazemi’s award will be given to this outstanding researcher.
The aim of the academic jihad is to become the ecosystem of innovation of Iranian elites
Dr. Hassan Moslami Nayini also said in this ceremony: Since its establishme, Jihad University has paid special atteion to the production of practical knowledge in the fields of industry, medicine, and the promotion of technology and services in the fields of diagnosis and treatme so that everyone can benefit from its results.
He stated that in more than four decades since its establishme, Academic Jihad has focused on the fields of various sciences such as medicine, humanities, basic sciences, engineering and petrochemical sciences, agricultural sciences, and art, and explained: Academic Jihad’s scieific activities in the field Medicine and biology have been in the field of reproduction and biology and stem cell technology and regenerative medicine and biotechnology, medicinal plas, etc.
The head of Academic Jihad stated that the goal of Academic Jihad is to become an ecosystem of innovation for Iranian elites and to create hope among the coury’s young researchers. The 5G band is to ideify examples of conflicts of ierest, produce technology of 4 types of hybrid seeds, supply metal parts with high technical knowledge, create a national park of soft sciences and technologies and cultural industries, etc.

One of the reasons for the success of Royan Research Institute, in addition to having outstanding researchers, is establishing iernational ieractions in various ways, such as holding iernational congresses.
While honoring the memory of Dr. Kazemi Ashtiani, Muslimi Nayini coinued: After the death of the late scieist in 2004, in order to honor his efforts and keep his memory alive among national and iernational scieists, this award was created at the suggestion of the leader of the revolution. The Kazemi Prize is awarded in collaboration with Royan Research Institute, Academic Jihad, and the Vice Preside for Science and Technology, and has been awarded to five researchers since 2010, and this year marks the end of its sixth year.
