Tbilisi angered the European Union

Following the approval of an ai-LGBT bill in the Georgian parliame, the European Union, while expressing its anger at this bill, suspended Georgia’s membership in the union.

The European Union reminds that Georgia’s accession process has effectively stopped and calls on the authorities to recommit to the path of iegration with the European Union.

Georgia has seen a color revolution called the “Rose Revolution” before, and in 2003, a pro-Russian preside was ousted and a pro-Western governme came to power.
