TheAccording to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera News Agency, Egyptian Preside Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, who traveled to Ankara today on an official visit, attended a joi press conference with his Turkish couerpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
In this press conference, the two sides demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and an end to the Zionist regime’s tensions in the West Bank.
Erdogan announced in this press conference that he will cooperate with Egypt in all fields and will seek to strengthen relations with this coury.
He coinued that he discussed regional issues including the situation in Gaza with the Egyptian preside.
The Turkish preside added that the curre priority is to stop the crimes in Gaza and reach a ceasefire. The Israelis drop thousands of tons of bombs on the people of Gaza so that they may surrender, but they are unable to break their will.
He also meioned the assassination of martyr Ismail Haniyeh and stressed that Ankara coinues its efforts to prosecute Israeli officials for committing crimes in Gaza.
Erdoğan poied out that the Zionist regime preves aid from eering Gaza, and this is another crime that is added to the series of crimes committed by the Zionists.
The Turkish preside said that the policies of Netanyahu’s cabinet are leading the region to a dangerous situation.
In this meeting, the Preside of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, considered the strategic and high-ranking meeting between the two sides to be an indication of the desire of the two couries to strengthen cooperation and emphasized that regional crises emphasize the importance of coordination and cooperation between Egypt and Turkey.
He expressed that the policies of the two sides regarding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the realization of the aspirations of the Palestinian nation in the formation of an independe state are compatible with each other, and Egypt also demands an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and an end to Israeli tensions in the West Bank.
Al-Sisi announced that the importance of coordination and cooperation between Egypt and Turkey, especially in the field of humanitarian aid, was discussed in this meeting. In addition, the situation in Sudan and the Horn of Africa was also discussed.
