In this meeting, Amirhossein Jalali Nadoshan, a psychotherapist and spokesperson of the Scieific Association of Psychiatrists of Iran, and Bahram Salvati, an immigration analyst, discussed various aspects of immigration.
▫️ Amir Hossein Jalali Nadoshan, a psychotherapist and spokesperson of the Scieific Association of Psychiatrists of Iran, said in this meeting: “When a society reaches the state of alienation from the future, it is no longer possible to do productive work in that society. Even in its undone form, immigration eats away at the soul of society. I see professors who say I will answer in 6 mohs in order to accept a project next year. Because they are waiting for an email from differe couries such as America, Canada and even Oman that will specify their immigration duties.
Bahram Salvati, an analyst in the field of migration, also said: “A strange phenomenon has happened in the field of migration, which I can claim has never happened in Iran in the last hundred years. “Evidence from iernal and external sources shows this.”
He coinued: “In the past few decades, we had various migration peaks, but a peak started at the end of 2019, which was temporarily stopped by Corona.” This peak is now back on stream and we don't know how long it will coinue. Last year's migration calendar predicted that this wave would be longer. There is no place for happiness either, because we didn't have a plan for it and we don't have it.”
Every year, thousands of Iranians immigrate to Turkey, either through education or investme. Salvati said: “Iranians either look at Turkey as a destination or see it as a transit. In 2021, Turkey will attract 615,000 new immigras from differe couries, which is a 250% increase compared to the previous year.
He explained: “Iraq ranks first with 74,000 new immigras, Iran ranks second with 67,000 new immigras, and Uzbekistan ranks third in Turkey with 40,000 new immigras.” It is noteworthy that 50% of new Iranian immigras in Turkey are women.
