This year, the Canadian Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Agency (IRCC) preseed its three-year program for attracting immigras from 2024 to 2026. This program defines the path of Canadian immigration and governme programs. The three-year plan or Immigration Levels Plan specifies the main focus of the Canadian governme in attracting immigras in the coming years.
In the new announced program, the Canadian Immigration Agency has not changed the number of annual admissions compared to the previous program. But according to the new approach of the Canadian governme, a part of the annual admission of immigras outside Quebec will be allocated to applicas with knowledge of the French language. Accordingly, in 2024, about 6%, in 2025, about 7%, and in 2026, about 8% of immigras will be in this group.
According to the new announceme program, in the so-called High Skilled programs, we see an increase in the number of permane reside admissions compared to the previous announceme program.
Also, in the new announced program, the Immigration Organization has announced the number of permane reside admissions in startup visa and self-employme programs for artists and athletes unchanged. Based on this, 5,000 people will be accepted in these programs in 2024, and this number will reach 6,000 people in 2025 and 2026.
In the new announced program, the Immigration Organization has reduced the number of admissions in temporary programs as well as the northern cities program in 2024 and has considered it unchanged in 2025.
But the biggest change in immigration programs is related to the Atlaic program. The immigration organization has significaly reduced the number of admissions in this program. The main reason for this is that the provincial programs of the provinces of the Atlaic basin are growing separately.
Also, in the new program, the number of admissions in provincial programs remains consta for 2024, but will increase in 2025.
According to the announced program of the Immigration Organization and the very significa coribution given to the French language, obviously one of the ways to obtain a permane residence in Canada is to obtain a CLB7 score in the French language. (See this link to see French language scores)
Also, startup visa and self-employme programs (according to the general conditions of these programs) have a good coribution in graing permane residence.
Provincial programs have always been an importa part of programs for obtaining permane residence. The provinces of British Columbia, Oario, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Nova Scotia have very active and good permane residency programs.
But our usual advice to you immigration applicas is to evaluate your conditions before doing anything so that you can determine the best immigration path for you and your family. Planning for immigration is an importa issue that cannot be ignored. A small mistake may waste years of hard work.
