An explosion occurred near an oil tanker off the coast of Kuwait – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, the British Maritime Trade Operations Departme announced on Thursday morning that the incide occurred 30 nautical miles from the southeast of Mubarak Al Kabir port in Kuwait.
The maritime organization announced that an oil tanker reported hearing a loud explosion and at the same time a small boat moved away from the area.
In response to this news, the Ministry of Ierior of Kuwait announced in a stateme that the news about the incide in fro of Mubarak Al Kabir port is not true.
The Ministry of Ierior of Kuwait noted that the incide occurred outside Kuwait’s territorial waters and is at least 60 kilometers away from Mubarak Al Kabir port.
