The advance of Russian armed forces in eastern Ukraine – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, citing Ryanovsti, the Ministry of Defense of Russia announced that the advance of the troops continues and the towns of Starokrayinka in Zaporizhia region and Stepanovka in Donetsk have been liberated.

The ministry also announced the targeting of fuel and energy infrastructure facilities related to the armed forces of Ukraine.

The field battle in eastern Ukraine continues while Ukrainian, Russian and American negotiators are meeting behind closed doors today in Abu Dhabi.

Ukraine’s withdrawal from the Donbas region has been described as the most important challenge of the negotiations.
