Barzani’s consultation with the commander of the SDF militia – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Shafaq News, Masoud Barzani, head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iraq, had a telephone conversation with Mazloum Abdi, the commander of the Syrian SDF militia.

In this phone call, the two sides discussed the latest developments related to the situation in Syria.

Last Thursday, Iraqi Kurdistan Regional President Nechirvan Barzani met with Abdi and emphasized the necessity of continuing the ceasefire and turning to dialogue in Syria.

It should be mentioned that last night, Damascus announced the extension of the ceasefire agreement between the Syrian Ministry of Defense and the SDF.
